The Nebraska Referee Committee
The Nebraska Referee Development Program (“NRDP”) is the governing entity for all soccer referees in the state of Nebraska who are licensed by U.S. Soccer. The NRDP is governed by its own bylaws as well as the policies of the Nebraska State Soccer Association and U.S. Soccer.
Initial Certification
All soccer officials must be certified as required by U.S. Soccer. In Nebraska, registration is done through our partner, Officials Management Systems (“OMS”). The certification process for new referees is more extensive than for those that have officiated previously. The certification process for new referees can be found here:
Recertification
The process is different if you have been refereeing for a while. Although you do not have to go all of the training as does a new referee, you still have to get recertified every year. The recertification process is described here:
